Stargazing for Beginners
You know the moon, but what about the other things up in the night’s sky?
What are constellations?
Where is the north star?
What is a nebula?
How do I see a comet?
How can I tell the difference between a star and a planet?
If you want to learn the difference between a full moon, new moon, super moon and a blue moon, how to use certain stars and constellations to point to other things to see in the sky, how to watch for comets and meteors, how to distinguish between planets and stars, how to spot a nebula and more, this is the course for you!
No special equipment needed, just bring a pad and pen to make notes and a sense of curiosity and exploration.
On Tuesdays 4th + 11th February 2025 8-9pm
