The jazz jam format has so much jeopardy! That’s what makes it so enjoyable…
Presented by a fine group of semi-pro and amateur jazz enthusiasts, this Friday night session was a huge success with the inaugural session in February. We hope it will continue to be well attended and as much fun as our opening night was.
Hosted by Mark Phillips (trumpet) and the local house band The Jukes, our success depends on the jammers. So do come along and join in. Appreciative audience members also welcome. Singers and instrumentalists are warmly invited, or just come along and enjoy listening. Anything could happen when a bunch of strangers get together, unrehearsed, and make music at an open mic night like this.
The house band will warm things up with no more than a couple of tunes before throwing it open to all comers. Then it is uninterrupted jamming for three hours!
The house bar will be open of course.
