Hey Presto! Family Concert

Hey Presto! Is a fun, interactive concert that is made for audiences of all ages. Introducing the woodwind family through a magical story, Chameleon play an impressive 13 instruments between only four members, choosing repertoire from a variety of genres to ensure that there is something for everyone in this hour-long performance. 

Delving into the sounds of their instruments through demonstrations and feature pieces, this concert provides a fresh and exciting programme for the seasoned concert-goer, whilst also opening up the imagination and interest of first-time recital attendees. With opportunities to get involved with the music making through rumbling soundscapes, rhythmic games and a conducting conveyor belt, Hey Presto! is the perfect activity for all the family!

With a welcoming approach to traditionally classical music settings, Chameleon are a versatile woodwind ensemble with a mission to Create, Empower, and Share music with their audience. They are Live Music Now musicians and deliver concerts around the country, alongside their residencies and workshops in Schools and Hospitals. They are the current winners of the RPS Henderson Chamber Award, and are previous recipients of the RPS Enterprise Fund for their concert series ‘Virtually Live’.
