Engineering Minds: Reclaiming Narratives
Children aged 7-14 in the Royal Borough of Greenwich are invited to join Engineering Minds for their new 10 week project Reclaiming Narratives: The Impact of Black African Innovators in the UK.
With support from BH365, the new project in the Royal Borough of Greenwich celebrates the contributions of outstanding Black African and Caribbean engineers and scientists in the UK.
This initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of innovators, instilling pride in their heritage while educating the broader community about the significant roles played by Black African and Caribbean scientists and engineers.
These free monthly sessions on Thursdays 5.30-7.30pm feature innovators such as Dr. Mark Richards (Atmospheric Physics and Engineering), Yewande Akinola (Environmental and Water Engineering), and Dr. Ossie Jones (Structural Engineering).
