An inspirational evening of guitar playing is in store, featuring Clive’s own, much lauded compositions, medieval lute music, Spanish guitar classics, Delta Blues and hints of Chet Atkins & Django Reinhardt, through to The Beatles. He will also be showcasing numbers from his new CD, The Furthest Tree, which includes a duet with John Williams.
Clive’s masterful compositions, coupled with his versatility and unparalleled technical virtuosity, have made him one of the world’s premier acoustic guitar players.  He has toured across Europe, Australia, the Middle East and North America, garnering praise for his sublime performances of everything from 16th and 17th century lute music to Jazz standards, Blues, Irish reels and his own groundbreaking compositions.

Clive has toured with John Renbourn, Gordon Giltrap, John Etheridge, Tommy Emmanuel and other stars of the acoustic guitar firmament in theatres and concert halls around the world. Here is an opportunity to see him in the intimate setting of this delightful 120 seat venue in Blackheath.
